The 50th International Eucharistic Congress is a week long programme of events, linking faith and culture, with a particular focus on the gathering of people of every nation, language and way of life around the table of the Lord. The opening ceremony of the Congress will be celebrated in the afternoon of Sunday 10thJune 2012 (The Solemnity of the Body and Blood of the Lord).
The key events of the IEC2012 programme will include the daily sessions of catechesis given by Bishops from different parts of the world, as well as testimonies offered by Christians who have a story of faith to share.
